Cesar Piedra is an interdisciplinary visual artist working in Sculpture, Ceramics, and Performance. Piedra was born in Southern California and raised in Northern Nevada. His works of art discuss the issues of identity, from a Mexican-American perspective. He is influenced by Mesoamerican history and contemporary culture.

Piedra received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in ceramics from the University of Nevada Reno, in 2021. He has worked within the ceramic medium for 10+ years, in which he developed skills in pottery, sculpture, and slip casting.
